Koa is a healing practitioner, artist, and somatic educator who carries a deep commitment to the living wisdom of the body and the natural world.
In 2021 she founded the School of Biodynamic Healing Arts, where Koa guides students in cultivating an embodied presence that emerges from a deep and devotional listening in order to create greater coherence, attunement, and the conditions for the potential of healing to unfold.
Her approach is trauma-sensitive, rooted in a profound understanding of the body’s language and the impact of experience, both individual and collective, on our nervous systems. This work is not just about “fixing” — it’s about coming into better relationship with the stories our bodies hold and creating the space for them to shift naturally, to reconfigure, to integrate back into wholeness.
Every healing session, whether in person or remote, is an invitation into something greater than the individual self. It is an opportunity to meet life as it is — with humility, unwavering presence, and heart — and our belonging to it.
With 15 years of craniosacral training (read more: Honoring Roots and Lineage), Koa has also received profound teachings from indigenous wisdom keepers, spiritual leaders, and through her own personal journey of healing trauma from concussions, brain injuries, and near-death experience.
In addition to her healing work, Koa is a professional photographer, published writer, textile weaver, musician, and herbalist (see more: Devotional Arts).

Featured Interview: LAROTA
“I hold places on the body that allow the system to rest, and healing happens naturally. Craniosacral assists the nervous system in reclaiming the health that is never lost.”
Journal: HEALING BIRTH TRAUMA
“Craniosacral helps heal trauma. Even and especially the trauma of birth. Luckily, we are never too old to heal, and we are never too old for a rebirth.”
Written Publication: CATORI LIFE
“My work is informed by the bioenergetic blueprints of our embryological development. One of the most fascinating moments of our journey of incarnation is at the fourteenth day after conception. At day fourteen, held within the dark watery depths of the womb, in the center of the embryo, a streak of light emerges.”
Short Film: RUMI, BELOVED
“O lovers, lovers it is time
to set out from the world.
I hear a drum in my soul’s ear
coming from the depths of the stars.”
